What counts as an emergency?
For property management, emergencies are acute issues affecting common property that require immediate action, such as burst pipes, major water ingress, heating failure in winter, power outage in common areas or an entrance door that no longer closes.
For fire brigade or police, emergencies are fires, smoke, dangerous gas odours, break-ins, danger to persons, medical emergencies or other situations with immediate risk to people or safety. In those cases always call 110 or 112 immediately.
